Christians on Campus is a group of believers in Christ from various backgrounds. We love the Lord Jesus Christ and endeavor to give Him “the first place in all things” (Col. 1:18). Our desire is to cooperate with Him for the accomplishment of God’s eternal purpose (Eph. 3:11) by ministering the unsearchable riches of Christ (Eph. 3:8) for the building up of the Body of Christ (Eph. 4:12, 16).
Our Mission
- To help each other grow in God’s life unto maturity (Eph. 4:15; Col. 1:28)
- To be equipped in the full knowledge of the truth according to the Scriptures (2 Tim. 3:16-17; 1 Tim. 1:4)
- To cultivate our service for the building up of the church (Matt. 28:19; Eph. 4:12; 1 Cor. 14:1)
Our Faith
“…concerning our common salvation…contend for the faith” (Jude 3)
We hold the faith which is common to all believers (Titus 1:4)
- The Bible is the complete divine revelation inspired word-by-word by God through the Holy Spirit (2 Peter 1:21; 2 Timothy 3:16).
- God is one, yet three—the Father, the Son, and the Spirit (1 Timothy 2:5a; Matthew 28:19).
- The Son of God, even God Himself, was incarnated to be a man by the name of Jesus Christ (John 1:1, 14)
- Christ died on the cross for our sins, shedding His blood for our redemption (1 Peter 2:24; Ephesians 1:7, 1 Corinthians 15:3).
- Christ resurrected from among the dead on the third day (1 Corinthians 15:4).
- Christ ascended to the right hand of God to be Lord of all (Acts 1:9, 2:33, 36).
- Whenever anyone repents to God and believes in the Lord Jesus Christ, he is regenerated (born again) and becomes a living member of the Body of Christ (Acts 20:21; John 3:3; Ephesians 1:22-23; Romans 12:5).
- Christ is coming again to receive His believers to Himself (1 Thessalonians 2:19).

David Olson
Born in Minnesota but have lived in a few other states. Undergrad studied biology at Stanford University, then a PhD in genetics at the University of Washington. Married with 4 children and now grandkids are starting to come along. I dropped my profession 30 years ago and began to serve the Lord full time.

Peter Gunderson
Born in Austin, not Texas, Minnesota, where Spam was invented. Graduated from St. Olaf college in Northfield, MN with a teaching degree in English. I taught high school, worked as a home builder in Rochester for 15 years, as a Sales Manager for 12 years and have been serving in Campus Ministry for over 25 years. I am happily married (45 years) with 2 wonderful children and 8 grandkids. We love camping at Temperance River State Park.

I’m from the Northwest, having grown up in Montana and Washington state. I went to Eastern Washington University, where I got my degree in Dental Hygiene, after which I worked in the dental field for a short time. Its been my pleasure to work in campus ministry at the U since 2020. I love to drink coffee, visit state parks, bake, and read the bible 🙂

Hi, I grew up in San Jose, California and yes Northern California is superior to Southern California. Went to school at the University of Texas in Austin, where I studied Biology and Spanish. I moved to Minnesota five years ago and live in Northeast Minneapolis with my wife and dog. We love taking our dog to the St. Paul Saints games, going to Gopher football games, and going up north. I’ve been involved in campus ministry for 5 years.
